So, in one of my super early posts I said "...in a weird, messed up div 8 kind of way." That, along with Yulia's intense passion and drive, started a phenomenon amongst our class. We now started referring to ourselves as The Div 8. It was pretty sick. Div 8 was the smallest and second loudest class in the whole school, unfortunately the class next to us was louder, and that hurt our self esteem:( As you can imagine, the grade 7 hallway was very loud. I mean VERY loud. Because there was other people that were worthy of calling themselves part of The Div 8, we decided, well Yulia decided, to let them join our crew. That's when we changed our name to The Div 8 and Co. Let's meet the crew...
ME!- I'm Meghan, the almighty god of this blog. Also the co-founder of The Div 8. I play the alto saxophone in the schools very kick ass concert band (best in the district baby:P) and the advanced jazz band. I also play violin in advanced strings, the strings ensemble made up of 9 people. I suck at most team sports and I'm not a super fast runner, but I like to run just by myself:D I have a black belt in karate, therefore a certified ninja.
YULIA!-The other co-founder of The Div 8. She's Russian and crazy and I love her so much! The one downside to Yulia is that she speaks perfect English, so she doesn't have a cool Russian accent:( She's smart comme moi, and I love her to death. She has crazy big brown hair and beautiful hypnotic green eyes. I know that no matter what I say, I will never do her justice, so take my word for her intense awesomeness:D
MOTHEATI!-For messed-up reasons of his own that he won't explain, Motheati (pronounce moth-ay-i-tee) refuses to let me write his real name, so his pseudonym is Motheati. I think it's the name of a character in the book he's trying to write, but I don't know. Motheati if the kind of person that I described in my "How to cope with the insane people in your life" post. He is also a never ending inspiration for blog posts. I love him like a little naive brother, and underneath all of that crazy, there is a semi-normal person who is actually super awesome:D
CONNOR!-Connor is the coolest kid ever. Not in the skinny jeans, Justin Beiber way, but in an indescribable way. I could fill up 50 pages of all the hilarious things he's said, and you would all read it and think, "What the hell? That's not funny.". and for the most part I would agree with you, because you have to BE THERE to understand why. He's the kind of kid who makes up a Man Purse incorporation, or is excited about the destruction of the human race because then Motheati and him could have an "adventure" surviving as the last people one earth, and would somehow manage to travel from the west coast all the way to Ontario because there is a huge water supply there. Don't ask.
ELLA!- Ella says the funniest things! Funny as in clever funny, and usually they're amazing comebacks that I always beg permission to use. Not only is Ella hilarious, but she's super nice and just an awesome friend and of course super beautiful. Although, she is addicted to frappucinos, and Yulia and I are always worried that she might overdose and end up so caffeine high that she destroys anything in her path. I know it sounds extreme, but one day it might happen.
CATHERINE!- Catherine is the best. Like, so nice, considerate, thoughtful, beautiful and just generally a super awesome chick. Catherine also was the first one in The Div 8 to discover the coolest blog ever, and my idol, Allie Brosch. Her blog is hyperboleandahalf.blogspot.com and it is god in blog form. Catherine also is a computer programmer/hacker who will one day become the next Mark Zuckerberger.
BRIAN!-Even though Brian ditched us to go to the CRAPPIEST SCHOOL EVER, he is so epicly amazing that he just HAS to be part of The Div 8. He's super tall and Asian and has more blonde moments then me, I swear. Brian was always the most popular guy at the school, but unlike most "cool" guys, he's actually a good person. And he is also an amazing athlete, like, best in the town at soccer.
JACOB!-Jacob is from England, and he came to Canada in grade 6. Jacob is hilarious, spontaneous, smart and somewhat satanic. Unfortunately, he flips his hair way to often, which results in a punch in the arm from either Yulia or me. I'm probably not doing him justice, but he seriously a great friend.
SENA!-Sena is a super beautiful, super duper smart future doctor. Sena is also a super great listener, advice giver and I always have a blast hanging out with her. One of my favorite things about Sena, is that I don't have to define every word over 7 letters to her:D When I say future doctor, I mean it. She is already taking...and getting A+'s on university medical courses, just for practice.
KIRA!-Kira is a super amazing friend. By that, I mean she's always the first one to help, she is a great listener and of course is super duper froz:D Shes super short, but what she lacks in height she makes up for in the redness of her hair:P
EILA!-Eila, pronounced ai-la, has even more blonde moments then Brian and me COMBINED. The most vivid memory I have of her, is when one time in grade 6, she asked me how to spell "sugar", and I said "g-u-l-l-i-b-l-e" it took her a good 20 seconds to realize that sugar is not actually spelled like that:P Eila also laughs all the time, and has the sweetest most bubbly personality and is a super amazing friend:D
INHO!-Yes, his name is Inho. Believe me, he's heard every joke in the world about his name, so say what you want and he'll just look at you and comeback with a better insult. Inho just recently learned how to Speak English (he's from South Korea) and I don't think he understands the significance of some words. You can insult him all you want, with the harshest words you can imagine, and he'll just stare at you and come back with some of the meanest words ever. We've gotten used to it, so we know that his intention isn't to destroy us mentally, but it took time.
PRAE!-Prae is from Thailand, and her English is a million times better than Inho's. She is the most naturally beautiful person ever! She is an awesome listener as well as a hilarious and fun addition to any conversation:D
PROM!-Prom is Prae's little brother. Prae and Prom are very different, but both equally awesome. Prom is freaking hilarious, and every girl in the school appreciates his natural ability for dressing well and uniquely, as opposed to just skinny jeans and Abercrombie t-shirts.
There, now you have met most of The Div 8. There are mor people to come as more members join our cult, so keep checking:D
